This five-second motion design piece explores the word “BREAK” and expresses its meaning. Through multiple design iterations and storyboarding, I examined how to communicate its essence dynamically. Initially, I considered animating individual letters to interact with the word, such as the "i" in "BUILD" acting as a character or the "p" in "PROTECT" shielding others. Ultimately, I chose "BREAK" and animated it shattering into pieces. I incorporated shaking movements and sound effects, including crackling and a loud shatter, to enhance realism and impact. This approach effectively conveyed the word’s meaning through both visual and auditory elements.
